Welcome to PubPulse. We built this to champion pub culture and help you find the right pub for the right moment. These terms explain what PubPulse does, what you agree to when you use it, and the boring legal bits we need in place. Please read them.
PubPulse is a pub and bar discovery service operated by DashedLTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales.
PubPulse helps you find pubs and bars based on live busyness, what's on tonight, facilities, and community-submitted information. It's currently a UK-focused web application accessed at pubpulse.app.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PubPulse. Our Privacy Policy covers how we handle your data. Together they form the agreement between you and us.
By creating an account or using PubPulse, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use PubPulse.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app. Continued use after we notify you counts as acceptance.
You must be 18 or over to use PubPulse. This isn't a suggestion — PubPulse is about licensed premises where alcohol is served. When you sign up we ask for your date of birth. If you're under 18, your account will not be created and any account we discover to belong to someone under 18 will be deleted.
To use most of PubPulse's features you need an account. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google.
You agree to:
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. When you do, we delete all your associated data within 30 days.
PubPulse is free to use for pub-goers. We may introduce paid features for venue owners (partners) in the future, but you're never going to be charged for using PubPulse as a consumer without your explicit consent.
When you use PubPulse you can contribute data to the community — check-ins, facility confirmations, vibe tags, ratings, and other submissions. We call this "User Content."
By submitting User Content, you:
We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or that we believe is misleading, offensive, or harmful. We don't have to warn you before doing so.
Much of the information on PubPulse comes from three sources: pub owners (partners), external data providers (Google, OpenStreetMap, BestTime), and our community of users.
We try to keep this data accurate, but we can't guarantee it. Opening hours change, pubs close, facilities appear and disappear. We rely on our community to verify and correct information over time. Please treat information on PubPulse as a helpful indication, not gospel truth.
If you spot something inaccurate, please help us fix it — use the report tools in the app.
When you use PubPulse, you agree not to:
If you break these rules we may suspend or delete your account, with or without warning depending on the severity.
We try to keep PubPulse running smoothly but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. There may be outages for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We're not liable for any loss caused by downtime.
PubPulse's software, design, branding, logo ("PP" roundel), and content (excluding User Content and third-party data) belongs to DashedLTD. You may use PubPulse as a consumer under these Terms, but you may not copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer any part of it.
PubPulse relies on third-party services (Google Places, OpenStreetMap, BestTime, Stadia Maps, Supabase, Vercel, Railway) to work. Where PubPulse shows information from those services (pub names, ratings, busyness scores, map tiles), we make no warranty about accuracy or availability of that information.
PubPulse is provided "as is." We don't warrant that:
Please make your own decisions about which pubs to visit and how. Nothing in PubPulse is legal, financial, medical, or safety advice.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, DashedLTD is not liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claims relating to PubPulse is limited to £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
You can stop using PubPulse or delete your account at any time.
We can suspend or terminate your access if:
The sections of these Terms that should logically survive termination (e.g. licence to User Content already contributed, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue to apply after your account ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of PubPulse will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before things escalate to a legal dispute, please email us at support@pubpulse.app — we'd much rather sort things out directly.
Entire agreement — These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between you and us regarding PubPulse.
Severability — If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Assignment — You may not transfer your account or these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms (e.g. if the business is sold).
Waiver — If we don't enforce a right straight away, it doesn't mean we've given it up.
